As the title suggest, I went for a 3D2N trip to Bangkok.^^
Sooooo Happppyyy. (Because it's a paid trip - by my mum) Hoho.

Anyway, when we arrived in bkk, it's already around evening time.
So, after checking in and some quick shopping, we decided to head over chinatown for the famous seafood (T & K).
And, this is when we got scammed by a tuk tuk driver..

We asked the tuk tuk driver to send us to chinatown, but he told us all the restaurants closes very early. (about 9.30pm).. So, he offered us another place to eat. According to him, it's a place where we can eat cheap seafood market. AND he quote us 20 baht only to travel there. (So Damn Cheap).

And so, we arrived here...

Anyway, our bills add up to near to 3000 baht (100 over SGD). Sorry guys, i lost the receipt, esle i will take a photo of it. In case you're wondering, we only ordered one plate of vege, one seafood tomyum soup, one baked squid, one pineapple fried rice and 4 coconut juice. The freaking baked squid alone cost 700 over baht. Here comes the most ridiculous charges ever... We need to pay 270 baht for their tips. (That's right, we were forced to give tips. It's included into our total bill) They told us the tips is for all the employees in the restaurant. (They might as well ask for more to give to their parents, grandparents, great grandparents..........)

This is when we realized the tips is actually for the tuk tuk driver. It's for their frigging commission. Lesson learnt: There's really no such thing as free lunch. DON'T EVER accept things that are cheap. This applies to when you're bargaining for something. Just buy it when you find the price is reasonable. You don't have to walk streets after streets to compare prices. Just buy it once you find the price is reasonable enough. Wasting your time and effort to save that few cents or dollars is really not worth it. (Unless you have got too much time and energy to spare la)

Well, back to my bangkok trip, apart from the standard must-go places like chatuchak weekend market and MBK, i want to introduce all of you this shopping mall called terminal 21. Here, you can find several world famous cities, like Tokyo, London, SanFrancisco etc..



This is the T & K seafood market (at Chinatown) that i mentioned earlier. Look at the crowd. I guess a picture speaks a thousand words. This is the must-go/never go will die with regrets kind of place. Haha.
Even when there are so many customers to handle, the employees remain very friendly. *applause*
The MOST important thing is, they don't have service charge AND they won't force you to give tips. LOL
AND AND AND their seafood is freaking cheap.
Highly recommended for y'all to go :D
